About Our Monthly MeetingOur meetings are held the first Thursday of every month at 7 p.m. Please give yourself plenty of time to arrive as traffic is congested in the area. About the Washington DC IAHSP Chapter The Washington, D.C. IAHSP Regional Chapter (WDCIRC, WDC IAHSP, LLC) was launched on December 31, 2004 and its members include those professionals who reside and own businesses in Washington, D.C., Virginia and Maryland. The Inaugural Meeting was held on February 21, 2005. Please e-mail WashingtonDC@IAHSP.com for future dates and locations of WDC IAHSP, LLC chapter meetings. The WDC IAHSP, LLC was founded to provide a professional business association for Home Stagers and Staging Real Estate Agents throughout the greater Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. Our goal is to foster growth, unity, and networking among peers in the Home Stager community. Through our efforts we hope to elevate the professionalism of Home Staging throughout our Nation`s Capital and work to continually expand our quality of services. To join the WDC IAHSP, LLC, members must be licensed business owners in the greater Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, and be providing Home Staging Services or Interior Re-designing services. Members must be ASP or ASP Master™ Stagers or ASP™ Real Estate Agents. All members are subject to our Ethics guidelines for participation and business conduct. WDC IAHSP, LLC meets every month for business networking to discuss ways in which we can expand Home Staging and Re-design in this region in the most professional manner , protect our businesses and create a unified market approach for clients . Members must join the International Association of Home Staging Professionals (IAHSP) and remain in current standing as long as they are member stagers of WDC IAHSP, LLC. We also welcome Affiliate Business Members in the greater Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, vendors or service providers who support our Staging efforts. Affiliate Business Membership allows these business owners to market directly to our stager members as well as host meetings as scheduled.

What a truly rewarding, and spirited day we had this year working together on the 2009 WWSSW project.
We chose to work once again with Home Stretch, a non profit organization that assists families to get back on their feet after many life changing occurrences.
Our family this year was a Mom and her two young sons. They had very minimal personal possessions. Through the generosity of our friends at AFR Furniture Rental, Brook Furniture Rental and Cort Furniture Rental we were able to give them furniture that would be their own. Through the Chapter donations and donations from Chapter members we were able to transform their living space into a beautiful home that they can be proud of.
It was so rewarding to see the reaction of the family when they saw their new home. The Mom cried tears of joy and could not believe that we had given her this gift. She shared with us her circumstances that brought her into the Home Stretch program and what she and her little boys had been through. Trust me, there was not a dry eye in the room! What a strong woman.
We all left being grateful for what we have and with an awesome feeling knowing that we made a true difference in changing their lives. I don`t think that any one of us who worked on the project will ever forget that special feeling in our hearts when we left that day.
After the project, the Deputy Director of Home Stretch called and extended her thanks to all of us for what we did for the family. She said "I can truly say that your work has made a difference not only outwardly but inwardly and Jacentia was ecstatic and feels hopeful".
